Qlik partner Hong Kong: local delivery and support at Elite level

A Qlik partner Hong Kong buyers can actually use is never just a licence reseller. ATPEP International is a Qlik Elite Channel Partner, covering licence procurement, environment deployment, dashboard delivery and day-to-day operations — all handled locally, in your time zone.

What Qlik is, and what a partner adds

Qlik partner Hong Kong - ATPEP Qlik Elite Channel Partner badge

ATPEP INTERNATIONAL CO., LIMITED is an authorised Qlik Elite Channel Partner. That tier reflects Qlik’s assessment of a partner’s technical certification, delivery capability and customer service, and it gives us direct access to the vendor’s technical resources, product roadmap and support channels.

Qlik is a global data integration, analytics and AI platform vendor, with a product range spanning data pipelines, business intelligence dashboards and generative AI applications. The most common enterprise use is consolidating data from separate ERP, finance, sales and logistics systems into dashboards management actually looks at every day.

What people mean by a Qlik partner Hong Kong engagement is the whole local ecosystem around the product — licence procurement, deployment, consulting and ongoing support — rather than the software on its own.

The division of labour matters in practice: the vendor builds the product, and the partner turns it into something that actually runs inside your organisation. Licences can be bought online. How data sources get connected, how dashboards get designed, how an ageing version gets upgraded, and who picks up the phone when something breaks — that is where projects succeed or fail.

If you are evaluating Qlik, need a renewal quote for an environment you already run, or have an analysis requirement that has stalled, take a look at what our consultants do, or simply get in touch.

Four places Qlik projects get stuck

These four situations come up more than any others in our local projects. If one of them sounds like your organisation, the problem is usually not the product.
📦
Licences renewed, but barely used
The licence renews every year while only a handful of people open the platform. The cause is rarely the tool. It is that nobody sat with the business to make the first set of dashboards worth opening.
Low adoption
🔄
Nobody dares touch the upgrade
QlikView or an old Qlik Sense build has been running for years, nobody can read the scripts, and whoever wrote them has left. The upgrade keeps getting deferred because any change might take the system down.
Version migration
🔌
Data sources won’t connect, or connect slowly
ERP, POS and warehouse systems each run their own way, data gets out by manual Excel export, and dashboards are permanently a day behind. What needs fixing is the pipeline, not the charts.
Data integration
📮
No one to call when it breaks
Vendor support sits in another time zone and tickets take days to turn around. Nobody local knows your environment, so every issue starts with explaining the architecture from scratch.

Qlik partner Hong Kong: what we take responsibility for

From the first time you evaluate the product through to every year after the system is stable, we cover each stage below. You can also engage us for one stage only.
🧭ScopingThe problem first, not the product
📄LicensingEdition and volume selection
⚙️DeploymentEnvironment, sources, permissions
📊DashboardsBuilt with the business
🎓HandoverSo your team can change it
🛠️OperationsLong-term support and renewal

The two highlighted stages decide whether the project works — and they are exactly what pure resellers do not do.

Deployment and data integration
Planning and installation for on-premise or cloud tenants, data source connections, model design, permissions and row-level security — so the data refreshes on schedule without anyone touching it.

Upgrades and migration
QlikView to Qlik Sense, on-premise to cloud, or moves between cloud platforms. We inventory the scripts and applications first, then plan a phased cutover that can be rolled back.

Dashboard design and rebuilds
We agree with the business what each dashboard has to answer before building anything. Existing dashboards nobody opens can be rebuilt into versions that actually get used.

Automated report distribution
Qlik NPrinting turns dashboards into scheduled PDF or Excel reports, so executives who never log into the system still receive what they need on time.

Why buy through a partner rather than direct

The licence itself costs much the same wherever you buy it. The difference is the year that follows.
Direct line to the vendor
Elite tier gives us access to Qlik’s technical resources, product roadmap and escalation channels. When an issue turns out to be a product issue, we know who to reach and which route to take.
Same time zone, same working language
Responses within Hong Kong business hours, in English, Cantonese or Chinese as your team prefers. No translating your architecture into someone else’s language before the conversation can even start.
More than a licence desk
A pure reseller’s job ends when the licence is delivered, and you find someone else for implementation. We run from scoping through to operations, so there is a single party to call when something goes wrong.

The product range and where each one fits

Qlik’s products fall into two groups: analytics and data integration. The table is organised around situations organisations actually find themselves in, so you can judge where to start.
ProductWhat it doesWhen to consider it
Qlik Cloud AnalyticsSaaS analytics platform for dashboards and exploratory analysisYou would rather not run your own servers, or need colleagues across sites to have access
Qlik Sense (on-premise)The same analytics platform installed on your own serversData cannot leave your premises, or you already have a data centre and IT team
Qlik Talend CloudData integration, data quality and governanceMany data sources, manual extraction, and a need for automated pipelines
Qlik ReplicateReal-time database replication and synchronisationProduction database data needs to reach the analytics environment in near real time
Qlik NPrintingTurns dashboards into scheduled, distributed reportsExecutives do not log in but still need reports on schedule
Qlik AnswersAnswers drawn from unstructured documents, with citationsToo many contracts, manuals and policies to search through by hand
QlikViewThe earlier analytics product, still in serviceIn use for years, and you are assessing the upgrade or migration path

Current official product information is available on the Qlik website. Which one suits your situation is worth a conversation — you do not need to have it worked out before asking.

Frequently asked questions

On licensing, quotes, support and migration, these are the five questions local clients ask most often.
The licence pricing structure is the same whether you buy through a partner or direct from the vendor. The difference is that a partner will look at your user numbers, data volumes and deployment shape first, then recommend an edition and volume combination — so you avoid paying for capability you will not use. We also review whether existing volumes still make sense before a renewal.
It depends on how complex your data sources are, not on headcount. If you run one system and Excel handles the reporting, you probably do not need this. If data sits across three or more systems and someone spends days each month stitching reports together, it is worth assessing even with a small team. The first consultation is free, and we will tell you plainly if it is not worth it.
Not directly. The application structures differ, so they have to be rebuilt. The script logic and data models, however, can usually be carried over to a large extent. In practice we inventory the applications first, separate what is still in use from what can be retired, rebuild only what still has value, and plan a phased cutover that can be rolled back.
Our local team handles it first, within Hong Kong business hours. We already know your environment, so you are not describing the architecture again. Where the issue is a product-level one, we escalate through the vendor channel and keep you updated on progress — you are not left chasing a ticket yourself.
Yes. The usual situation is that the original consultants have moved on or no longer serve the Hong Kong market. We start with a health check of the environment and applications, list the risks and the things worth improving, and then discuss how to work together. Operational support alone, leaving the existing architecture untouched, is also an option.
